A summary of events that happened after Dec 1956:

1- Joined St. Xavier's College Calcutta Jan 57 to Jun 58 ISc.
2- Joined BIT Sindri Mechanical Engineering, Jul 58 to Jun 62 BSc Mech Eng.
3- Moved to Karachi Pakistan Dec 62
4- Joined Karachi Electric Supply Co.for 6 months
5- Joined Burmah-Shell as Project Engineer Aug 63 to Aug 69 - I got married to Rafat Oct 1966, had son Shahzad in 67 and a daughter in 69
6- Moved to East Lansing Michigan- to do MS at Michigan State University- Eng.College
7- Completed MS in Jun 70, started Ph.d in Metallurgy and finished in March 1974 - While working on my Ph.d joined a local Auto Component Mfg Company- Motor Wheel Co Lansing, Michigan, Jun 72. Mfg. Engineer
8- I became a US citizen in 1974, Moved up in Motor Wheel as Research & Development Manager. Motor Wheel was owned by Good Year Tire Co.The company changed hands , Hayes Lemerz Int'l, Romulus, Michigan. I ran the R&D Manager Automotive Brakes Dept. My achievements are mostly 35 US Patents in Wheel and Brake Design. I retired in Jan 2001.
9- I joined as retirement job- as a Professor in Mechanical Eng. Dept. and CADM Dept. Jan 2001 teaching Mech Eng Design and Auto CAD classes to undergraduate students at Eastern Michigan University, Ypsilanti, Michigan 48197.
- In 1974 another son Sheeraz was born in East Lansing - he became Electrical Engineer did MS from North Western Univ,and is working for Motorola,got married to Saima a Dow Medical graduate, living in Chicago.
- 1977 a daughter Sayeema was born in East Lansing -she became doctor and is finishing her resedency from Beaumont Hospital Michigan.
-1980 a son Adil was born-became Law Professional degree in 2005.
-1982 a son Farraz was born- is in his last year of getting a Teaching Degree.
My eldest Shazad is married to Shazia a Dow graduate and has a daugter Shanzeh(9 yr) and a son Shamoun (3 yr). My daugter Sameera is married to Saleem all settled in Peoria Illinois working for Caterpillar Co.
