Did medical graduation from Patna Medical College in 1964 followed by post graduate in General Surgery and Plastic Surgery.

Joined teaching faculty of Plastic Surgery in Patna Medical College in 1969.

Retired as Professor and Head of Dept. Plastic Surgery in 2000.

Was awarded Commonwealth Medical Fellowship for higher trainig in Plastic Surgery in U.K. in 1977.

Keen Table Tennis and Badminton player, represented Bihar State (Juniors) and Patna Unversity in Table Tennis.

Married to Mira Mridubhashini in 1968. She is at presemt Head of Dept. of Economics in A.N.College, Patna.

Two sons Harsh and Yash and a daughter Rishika. Harsh is post graduate of TISS Bombay and M.B.A. in H.R. from Symbiosis, Pune. Yash is a soft ware Engineer working with WIPRO, Bangalore. Rishika is also in soft ware working with TCS.

One grand son Kunal aged one and a half years.
